Hi . . . Sam here . . . Most people having their breaks saturday and sunday . . . . they went to church, mall, beaches, and other place they can hang out. In addition, if there's a big/hot event . . . they love to watch it live. Also, google do their maintenance.

It depends on what niche you're in. Personally, my traffic drops on Saturday and Sunday too. It is common during weekends many will not access Internet or don't go to work.

Mine website also lose the traffic in weekends, it just becoz people in weekend (Saturday & Sunday) busy with other activities like shopping, funfair, malls, events etc..... that why less of the peoples are searching to the internet.

People need some relaxation from their work on week ends. So dont expect the traffic as equal on week days.

its only people like you and me who are publishing or using stuff on the internet on saturday and sunday. people with real life do something else during those times. I would be doing the same thing also, had I a chance.

Each niche is different. On one of my sites the peak day for traffic is Monday, for another it's Thursday, for another it's Sunday. It's all dependent on the internet habits of your market. I've tried to predict what day will end up being the busiest for a particular niche and I can never tell, I'm always surprised.

I've noticed this too. My traffic drops by about a quarter on saturday, and by about half on Sunday. It makes sense to me now after reading this post, that people just go do fun stuff on the weekends!

Most of the people like to spend there weekends with their families and friends so they do not use internet and it also depend upon your business type and target market.
