No derivates - can I resize picture

    There is a picture I would like to use on my website. Part of licence is "no derivates". Am I allowed to resize this picture, as it's originally too large to use it?

    I don't think you would have a problem with only resizing the image, however, you could always use the full size image and display it at the smaller size by altering the html image size and height.

    doesnt "no derivatives" means there shouldnt be any alteration of the picture?? correct me if im wrong...
