how long backlinks will be updated?

    i checked my backlin k before 3 weeks it sats 115,,,

    i checked today and it still says 115

    how long it will take to update or please suggest some online backlink checker
    for me

    i checked with iwebtool coz it came first if we search for "backlink checker" in google

    Maybe, you can check using other backlink checker tool and compare the results.

    If you still see the same, probably, your new backlink is still not crawled yet.

    Some backlinks are indexed in a month or even two, others in days or even hours, it depends on the web site your BL are from.

    As others have said it depends on how often the pages your backlinks are from are crawled.

    But for checking, I'd recommend backlinkwatch.com

    i have pagerank of two and have checked with iwebtool and it says i have 115 backlinks..but

    backlinkwatch.com says this..... :-(

    "Your website has not backlinks to report. -- Go on .. and build backlinks first ;) "

    I use Seopro's link checker..
    it gives very detail report for backlink..
    and updates quickly..

    We dont have control on when SE will crawl and count our backlinks. All we can do and wait and see.

    I have noticed a little lag in my backlinks updating and being crawled and found by the search engines.

    I am pressing on regardless with my backlinking all the same.

    I have used iweb for checking my backlinks but didn't like it. I can't get backlinkwatch.com to work for me at all.

    Dnscoop.com is a good way to get stats on your site and backlinks.

    I also use the Google webmaster tool, marketleap.com (only really shows results from yahoo now) and backlinkcheck.com. Backlinkcheck.com has not been totally accurate, but has been fairly decent in showing which search engines are registering my backlinks.

    PR is usually updated every 3 months.

    Content is an important factor in PR building - give other sites a reason to link to you. Such organic links are most favoredd in PR building. Alternatively, build more dofollow backlinks (from directories, forums, blogs, etc.) as they will also help you in PR building.
