Article writing is good art in seo, you write in particular keyword & you should remark keyword density, duplicate's etc, many free article directory are available in search engine you can use them, article submission not increase to traffic only increase to serp.

Djshazz - if you are just starting in article writing I would make the following recommendation: Choose the keyword(s) you are targeting. Write an article with 250 - 300 words with the keyword(s) in the following places one in the Title; one in the first sentence; two in the middle of the article; one in the last sentence. Submit the article to ezinearticles.com In order to get traffic from ezine you need to make your resource box properly.
