New to blogging/adsense, Getting cash but confused...

    Hey.
    I have had my blog up for about 4-5 days now, 2 days ago i earned £1.83 Through adsense with 15 clicks, yesterday £2.93 with 29 clicks, today £0.68 with 25 clicks.

    Just confused to how adsense actually fricken works?

    well I'm sure you know with adsense you put some code on your site that allows google to place ads on your site and google in return gives you some of the money.

    on the other side google has people that want to put their ads on googles ad network and they do so by using google adwords. In ad words people can select the amount they want to spend for an ad.

    What this means is that not every ad shown on adsense will bring in the same amount of money. some ads will bring you more money when some one clicks on them and some will give you a bit less.

    It seems that today people have been clicking on the lower paying ads.

    You may want to look at did you write about something recently that could have change the type of ads you bring in. Remember adsense ads come up based on content so maybe something you wrote is triggering lower paying ads to show up then you did the day before.

    if you can you might also want to look at your sites states are people going to a certain page today more/less then they did the other to days? Maybe the content on that page(s) is bringing in more or less valuable ads

    Different ads give different CPC, and therefore you will get the different earning from the same number of click.

    keep it in mind earnings cant be the same everyday.Say thank to God that u r earning something some have zero earning. By the time the ratio will increase but not same everyday ok So dont worry.

    it work with geo targgeted ip's and keywords and there is a curtain time on which u can get upto 5 dollar a click .. so keep making changes to ur blog and try google trends .. for hot topics ..

    It depends on where you traffic is coming from.. Adsense is very unpredictable. You can't just rely on it as a living.
