Why is the sex ratio on this forum so awful? Like what 500:1 ? While its totally opposite in case of moderators, there are more female mods than males! Any particular reason for such discrepencies?
i don't see where you could consider this a discrepancy. whats that image you posted, its not loading.
In my part of the world, women prefers to do a job other then Web based. however DP forum is full noobs now but still some experts are here. i guess a women can better trackle an unpleasant situation & understand the expressions, thats why most of the mods are female here. By the way i don't even know how many mods are here.
So you dont like a "Sausage Fest" or a high member ratio LOL Where are you gettin your stats from? 500 to 1 Is that your experience or its real fact from somewhere? sounds like you just pulled a number from the sky - doubt that How do you know the gender of a user here at DP? From their username or is displayed? Maybe females dont highlight their existance bcos they dont want to bothered or treated any different
You're not really sure if the user is a male or female. And do we care, as long as they have sense in giving comments and posts.
Isn't it generally like that with technology? Men like gadgets and tech stuff... But yea DP could do with some more females!
