Is it safe to donate blood?

Giving blood is safe enough, plus you get a free cookie and glass of milk which is always a bonus

I have considered platelet donations too

They take the blood from one arm and send it through a machine which filters out the platelets and feed the filtered blood back in the other arm. It takes longer than a normal donation but it is the only real way of collecting them as they don't appear in the blood in a high enough proportion to get them from the usual pint donated

Yes, it is safe to donate blood..but before that you have to consider the doctors to check that are you physically or mentally strong or not for this.

 

Yes it is safe to donate blood but of course you have to go to your trusted blood bank hospital.

Its safe to donate blood but the condition is you can donate within a time span of three months. And donating blood means that you are about to save one life that is in need of your help.Even I donate blood 2-3 times a year. That gives me feeling to proud that I am saving life and also it is a divine work.

if taken precautions... like needle is sterilised then it is a noble cause..
saving life is equivalent of giving one
