Any one interest to register .My domain?

    As I know, only Malaysian allow to register a .my extension domain name...

    so far does any non malaysian interested to register .my domain name?

    All those extensions never meant anything to me, I think I'm sticking with the classic .com's ;)

    Not sure how people are going to buy .my domains since they are only sold to Malaysians. I have one .my domain by the way :)

    Maybe just the guys who want to develop their business in Malaysians have interet in .my.For most of us,.com is still the best choice.

    Not really. If you're not in/of Malaysia, you have to get a Malaysian entity to register it for you, and they officially own it, so they can take it from you at any time and you have no real recourse.

    Ever wonder why so many companies have their regional HQ in Singapore instead of Malaysia even though the costs are so much lower here? Similar situation: The foreign entity has to get a local partner who, as a practical matter, can screw them over easily. Singapore law doesn't have those rules so companies feel much more comfortable setting up and investing there.

    i also prefer .me too, but most of the name already taken up after it launch to public :(
