Need a installation tut for Vb 3.8

    I have the full pack of vb.3.8. I upload it to my wwwroot folder. I want to run it on windows(for testing). I give full db info in includes\config.php.new and rename it to config.php now when i go to the address:
    http://localhost/forum/index.php it gives me this error

    Database error
    The database has encountered a problem.
    Please try the following:
    Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
    Open the localhost home page, then try to open another page.
    Click the Back button to try another link.
    The localhost forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

    I dont no what to do. As i check all dbinfo is okay.
    Could someone please solve this issue. and also please give me the vb database structure so I can put it in db

    you need to go to:
    forum/install/install.php

    or wherever the install.php file would be in the address.

    even though you enter the database detail in the config file during the setup you enter it again
