Hi Just wondered if I had a site with no PR is there a particular amount of PR backlinks to boost my PR juice? for example if I had a pr 0 how many backlinks from say PR3 sites would it take to increase my own sites pr? cheers
hello friend sorry I don't have any idea about this but if u want to increase the pr of ur site than u can also use many other ideas such as on page and off page work.
It would take one link from any site to boost your site's pagerank. If youre site has one link to it which Google can see then it has PR, this may be a tiny amount of PR and not even enough to get you from PR0 to PR1 on the toolbar but the very nature of the PR algo means that a link that is visable to Google has some PR flowing down it. PR doesnt go up in units of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc... which is why the toobar is confusing. It actually goes up in very fine degrees such as 1.37848764.
Google updates the PR each (5-6 months proximately). On next PR update you will get PR that you deserve.
Remember PR isn't all it's cracked up to be. Page value is much more important, that's why pr0 sites outranked pr5 sites in some serps
For getting PR, you need to concentrate on quality rather than quantity.. Backlinks from relevant quality site will boots up your PR. For getting good PR, I suggest you to consider about inbound links also - its also matters in PR.
It still depends on the quality of your site page.If it's so terrible,it'll do not work.So this is not a wise way to improve your pr value.Try to improve the quality of your site itself.
dont focus on get PR backlinks. rather focus on getting relevant contextual links from sites in your same niche. if you just go after PR and get bunch of worthless links form PR sites that are not relevant to your niche and don't have any credibility with google, then you wil lonly get PR but no benefit in terms of SERP ranking. go for relevant links
I agree with "justbusiness". Just focus on writing at least 1000 words of great content per day until Google's next PR update.
i had this article since long time it realy empasize what you want to know seo-gold.com/seo-tutorial/pagerank
Just get quality backlinks. There isn't a set amount of sites that need to link to your pages to improve their PR.
Quantity of links is not the basis of PR. If I were you, I'll focus my campaign to the quality of my links and content. Gathering tons of worthless links would not deliver you high traffic and search engine ranking.
There are no one that knows exactly how many links you need to increase to PR3 from PR0. But, we can always advice you to get dofollow backlinks from high PR (page's PR) with low competition (low outbound links). This will definitely help you increase your pagerank.
There is no specific answer for the question and Google not just view the PR of the back-link it also view relevancy, reputation and many other factors of the website for calculation our PR. So you just continue your work of getting more and more relevant link.
For increase to page rank not only back link rather content, internal & external link everything is necessary & back link should be contextual relevant worth & higher pr.
