    Wasn't worth it my opinion, I got no backlinks, and no pr juice from them it seemed... and definitely no traffic... don't waste your time me thinks ;)

    I joined the ISEDN several years ago- I got many backlinks and traffic and more revenue . So I would definetly think a search engine or directory would benefit is they become a member.

    I think that the idea behind ISEDN is to have hundreds of members
    linked to each others, which in return will allow them building strong PR

    Sorry but the ISEDN.org is not a link farm but an organization of smaller indeopentent search engines and directories. As a member I also receieve revenue and other benefits besides the back links. We smaller sites need all the help we can get

    Their links are javascript so pr will not transfer. Their goal seems to be traffic generation from directories, but I'm not sure how effective it would be.
