Google Analytics doesn't work for my website

Discussion in 'Google Analytics' started by itek4bux, Aug 24, 2009.

I believe I have inserted the code properly on my webpages, but Google Analytics still shows no data even after being configured for over a month.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

So I went back and checked and it said "tracking not installed" which is weird because I checked and the code is on the page.

Then I come across a default page field in the Main Website Profile Information section which was empty. Duh! I added index.php and updated the page... Bam! Analytics status changes to 'tracking installed'!!

lol it usually is something like that, that's the problem with php scripted pages, they aren't on a platform through which you can put up your analytics. Template systems rock, most scripts have them as well but python templates are crappy (eg SocialEngine)
