Paypal Balance in Different Currency

    I have some paypal funds in AUD.

    I can see the converted amount in USD.

    Does this mean I can send a payment using the funds in USD?

    Yes, you can send in USD. There is a an option of different currencies when you send money to anyone. Just select the currency from the drop down menu and send.

    Yeah I saw that, but wasn't sure because the balance is in a different currency.

    dcristo, you can have PayPal balance in different currencies at the same time without any problems.

    yes you can send ur money as usd....you can even change currency with other currencies

    Yes, you can send funds in USD, but there might be a slight difference with Paypal's trading value in terms of AUD - USD.

    One person transferred me US $ 1 but i got it 2/3 of it in my Account , why this happen to me ?

    Lol, there are no charges while sending money, but surely be charged getting PAID.

    And there are ALSO cross-boared charges too... DRUMMEING BOTH SIDES:-(

    What if i have a paypal account in "GBP" & someone send me money in "US $" did the fee apply to it when i receive the money ???? in which case paypal charge for currency conversion ?

    Once you receive the payment, PayPal will charge you in USD.

    Not sure if paypal charges you for currency conversion. I can see that charges are only imposed when receiving payments.

    You must pay fees if you receive the money.
    unless the buyer send u money as "gift"
    You should read the paypal fees..:)
