    Hi all,

    I want add a rss feed of Yahoo Answer on my site to help my visitors. Does Google consider this as duplicate content, and it will ban my site?

    People in the know say not to worry about duplicate content. Lots of them have it, and it hasn't hurt their rankings. They say it's mostly Internet gossip.

    I have already created a website to 'test' the duplicate contents and Google banned it in 1 week.

    you can see the site: 150loans.com , there are a lot of articles from EzineArticles and a xml feed from Yahoo! Answer but i dont know if my site get banned because Ezine's articles or Yahoo! Answer content :confused:

    duplicate content affect at long time, for short time u will get benefit.

    I think your fine as long as your site and pages dosent contain more than 50% duplicate content. If you whole site is built up around yahoo answers it does not serve a purpose and wont rank for anything.

    If you post the full content, it'll be treated as duplicate content and may not go high in SERP.

    I don't think it will create any duplicate issue, news from many sites such as BBC, NYtimes are syndicated through rss on regular basis and it wont hurt them. :cool:

    Google penalizes for duplicate content and at some point or another it will remove the content.

    Why don't you use a plugin with translator option ( eg. it changes the content from English to ( any language ) and back to English & then posts them). This way there are good changes of you getting unique content. I have heard of WP ROBOT plugin. Never used it but the reviews are good. You can post Yahoo answers, Amazon, clickbank, eBay, Youtube videos and Articlebase articles.

    The plugin for wordpress I use post the question as title, and the answers as comments, I just want be sure to dont see my site banned after few weeks online.

    Just build backlinks slowly and don't worry about dupe penalty.

    If the penalty for duplicate content then http://ezinearticles.com/ will suffer lot, because they have TONs of duplicate articles
