    A few of links I checked at Yahoo Answers and they are nofollow..
    I highly doubt how much weight they carry.

    They all are nofollow to my knowledge as for weight, I'm of the belief that nofollows do help just a smidgen for the SERPS but that's the extent. There are much better ways to get backlinks and traffic than Yahoo Answers.

    they are no-follow links, but if u really input genuinely, you will get traffic from there as well. not so bad if u can spend sometimes.

    Oh really? And do these backlinks show up as dofollow or as nofollow? Oh wait, it doesn't show you that specific data. Just because they are showing up in your webmaster tools does not mean these backlinks are providing any benefit to your site.

    Again, to reiterate and pull this thread back onto track, Yahoo Answers provides links, these links are nofollow, nofollow links don't pass link strength/juice but (IMHO) do help (a little) with the SERPS if the anchor text is used correctly.

    I really don't think that yahoo answers give you backlinks. But it definitely provides you a good amount of traffic.

    When someone types in a keyword in google, normally yahoo answers shows up in the first page.

    So answer some yahoo questions with answers with YOUR link and you will get LOTS of traffic!
