I have to say i'm still using XP, Vista just didn't do anything for me. Very slow and RAM hungry not to mention all the bugs when it first came out. I actually looked hard to buy a laptop with XP on it rather than vista.

I've been using Vista for more than a year and never encountered any of the problems people say they have.

XP works best for me. Stable and less resource-hungry than Vista and 7.

I have used both XP and Vista , i guess XP is more faster and easy to use than Vista. I am looking forward to Windows 7,which has good positive reviews.

Vista is atrocious and evil. It grabs all of your memory within 5 minutes of startup (just look at your task manager right after startup and watch your "free" memory drop to 0 after a few minutes) and then selectively dishes out your memory or limits some programs memory (as I'd already proved in this thread). It allots only 50mb to Firefox, for example, so when I tried to run a bunch of internet videos in firefox it doesn't load them cuz of that (particularly anything over a certain size, I believe to be 50mb) .
