Being Blasted with Irrelevant Ads starting today?

Today AdSense is littering my site with irrelevant ads for weigth loss, cosmetics, online educational stuff... I run a dating site and this is killing my CTR.

I remember getting an email about changes to allow other networks on Google.. well 4 days ago I specifically blocked cosmetics, weight loss and the stuff in the review center to avoid this type of things but I guess it didn't do anything.

Anyone else seeing this flood of irrelevant ads starting today? I have been with AdSense for going on 5 years and never seen anything like it.

 

I am having exactly the same problem on over 15 sites Very annoying. I am also getting the weightloss, dating, amongst other rubbish or public service ads, and some ads are not showing anything at all!

 

what do you think may be the cause of this problem?

 

My Adsense block displays only blue block meaning nothing was displayed also killing my ctr..

I have seen lots of thread having problem with Adsense about showing PSA ads, maybe google adsense have some issue lets just wait..

Well I am also facing same problem but site showing Forex Ads on Webmaster niche, although I am seeing same Ads on DP too! But I checked from one of my friend in US and he found relevant ads on my site so it should be issue from Google. Let's wait for while!

 

Same happening to me from last 10 hours. My website is about Music, Movies and I am getting ads about Forex and my CTR falls from 5% to 0.09%

 

lmao wow this is strange, i thought my site was hacked at first because i was getting pop-ups / slide in pop-ups, weight loss ads, missing ad blocks, not good !! well it's good knowing its on Google's end but damm wish i knew that before i went searching through hundreds of databases & php files looking for sus coding...

EDIT: also noticed no clicks in the last 5-6 hours which is quite strange as i can almost bet my bottom dollar i would have had 5+ clicks by now anyone else noticed this ?

I hope when u submitted the keywords in google ad sense, they may have the related keywords to the particular ads displaying on the sites. so once check the keywords what u have submitted in the adsense.

so that u can clear the issue.

well, none of my sites in german showing any ads, while the english ones (also those of my partner) showing public ones like unicef. That is now since about 12 hours

 

Must be a big problem, i now am seeing universities advertised on my gaming, forex and handbag niche sites... there once was a movie "The man who sued GOD"

Google is GOD these days i wonder if i can sue him for loss of income

 

The issue appears to be regional. The Philippines appear to be getting slammed. Singapore appears unaffected.

same with me and i also make report this on DP and after reading your thread i am visiting many web sites using different keywords and i see there are a large number of webs on them Google not showing relevant

i also see a strange thing my traffic increased from 4 to 5 guests a time to 560 + guests online and this is unaccepeted

 

Guys, now I am getting PSA only. My main ad block shows PSA and others are blank no ad. I don't know whats happening because there is no update from google.

the problem seems to be everywhere on all the sites. only a few limited ads shown and rest spots are blank. we need to wait and watch.

uhh... I've reverted back to blank ad spots again. Looks like they're still testing.
