Hypnosis is real and sometimes people over exaggerate on it for no reason.
I believe those puzzles and that it moves and messes with your mind.
But, other junk and etc. is pure fake. Unless someone wants to prove it to me !

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state. It doesn't mess with the mind. When in trance, you are aware of everything, and hear everything, and choose what to accept or not.

It does remove inhibitions though, as your conscious mind and unconscious mind can now work together without barriers.

I've seen some pretty cool hypnosis stuff. Like on television where they make people go stiff then people get to walk on top of their stiff bodies. Anybody catch that on Paranormal on Stage on Fox Reality Channel? It was pretty dang interesting

Nah, I think it has no power and it is a waste of time.

 

From what I know, hypnosis is a mental state (state theory) or set of attitudes (non-state theory) usually induced by a procedure known as a hypnotic induction.

 

Anybody watch Cris Angel? lol He was supposed to levitate people from home using hypnosis. Anybody try it?

 

I'm interested to know "how it works" not "how can I do it". Because I don't think hypnosis can be used as a marketing method in internet when you sell something.

 

i have tried Hypnosis and it did not work so i dont know its all in your head i guess

 

All our illnesses are inside our heads. If you can get it outa your head, you're cured. In some cases hypnosis can help you switching off a certain experience thus eliminating the cause (the glitch). I'm definitely interested, pity I don't use twitter.

 

I'm surprised - there is quite a bit of 'know how' on hypnosis here! There are so many exaggerated and plain made up stories about hypnosis that the majority don't really know what it's all about. It is more like a meditative day dream like state of mind that is perfectly natural and normal. In fact the first time I was every on the receiving end of hypnosis, I remember thinking 'is that it'?!

Getting into a hypnotic trance is as much a skill on the part of the subject as it is the hypnotherapist. The hypnotherapist has no 'power' over you. Their job is to help guide you into a hypnotic mind state, which you can do by yourself with the relevant knowledge and practice. If you persevere, you will find that your abilities to relax your mind and body will increase over time, allowing you to go into a deeper and deeper trance, which can be a very pleasant experience.
