I've never used DoubleClick but I've had better CPM rates with Casale Media then with FastClick.

How does fsatclicks CPM pay compared to google's?

I have high enough traffic, but only 1.8% CTR. I am thinking CPM may be a better way to go...

1.8% CTR with even 5 cent clicks will make you more then FastClick (with only one ad unit).
You can always run both ;)

No, FastClick ads are not contextual. It is only against the TOS to run other contextual ads.

I used doubleclick about 2 years ago and still cant find anyone better... the site I had back then was raking in £400-500 a month where another site with fastclick with same visitor stats was hardly seeing anywhere close to DC

Doubleclick.net has been in court a number of times and just pays fines.
Personally the info cookie they leave they should put where the sun don't shine.
And I doubt anyone gets paid for their cookie.
