Hey, Just like the others suggested, you can hire some people to make relevant and good posts into your site. Try to hire people that will make good replies and make good questions that most people would look for. Then make sure that people would enjoy comming bacl to your forum, that you keep them interested.
For your home page you can use your primary keywords as your title but for each post the title would depend upon the topic of the thread. And as far as getting back links is concerned you will have to follow what I have already told.....do some web directory submission, article writing and submission, forum posting on other related forums and commenting on blog posts related to your niche.
You niche means the sites related to your industry like if you are running a forum on Internet Marketing then your niche sites would be related to SEO, Internet Marketing, Website Promotion etc.
