You need to deal with trusted buyer. It depends where you are dealing and with whom you are dealing..

It's really not that secure, the buyer will win 90% of the time if you sell virtual items/services.

Don't worry,as long as you can provide the receipt for the transaction.
    You're safe.
But i would strongly suggest you not to sell virtual item using paypal.

No place is safe on the internet. YOu never know when you are going to deal with scammer but for safety you should be having all the required proof and reciept to get rid from such trouble.

Ok, I mean ask him to make some detailed note in the detail section when he pays you. That will help you to track paypal if any unsusual thing happen.

If your a seller and you dont want to deal with payment fraud then you can choose other payment alternative that support seller benefits since paypal usually doesnt support seller when it comes to chargeback ..So I guess you can either use a bank transfer or probably xoom and western union

Well every online payment service has flaws connected to it. Now whether paypal can be trusted, well there are millions of users using it and making huge transactions. You can even contest any transaction if it went wrong.

Another point is that Ebay is attached to paypal. Such a giant company would not attach itself to a service provider unless its authentic on legal grounds and in its services.

paypal has been the subject of many fraudulent attacks recently and this is one of the reasons why they are very strict when it comes to account security. Many of the fraudsters have been from eastern europe. So be very wary of receiving a sudden spike in sales from certain countries

I have also used paypal and have no qualms about it. Paypal is safe the only problem is that paypal will always side with the buyers in case of any disputes. Hope you have that noted.[IMG]
