Hard to say really without really looking into it paidi is in some respect quite right most people will not give away the products that work for them since they do not want the competition. I just tried many niches untill I found a couple that work for me.

 

I am also on search for highest converting and low chargebacks , if you find any tell to me also.

"Gravity" is an indication of the number of affiliates who have each made one or more sales of a product during the last 8 weeks, weighted in inverse proportion to the time at which the sales were made.

Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't follow that products with high gravity are necessarily converting better than others. What does follow is that they're more competitive niches in which affiliates will effectively be up against others with big PPC budgets.

When selecting products to become an affiliate for, gravity is one of the very last things I'd ever look at (and even then, only to make sure I avoid products with high gravity). I'm pleased to say that most affiliates look at this differently.

 

Well, you have a point there. But gravity also means that the product has a proven track record, and that it converts, and has converted for many. The best profits I've had as an affiliate was with the high gravity products. They have huge markets, and huge potential for profits. I've never had that much success with the lower gravity ones. There are usually much more keywords and search volume for those products.

If it's competitive it doesn't have to mean it's difficult to make sales. It means that the market is profitable.

This is a funny thread but I will just say this...CB has its stats on each product along the bottom. It's all about the stats on each product!!! That's all I can say really as its kinda a giveaway if I got tell you which ones are the best lol...I gave you a wee bit of a hint how you can find out though. Goodluck

 

Gravity is how many people use the product, how many people it pulls to selling that product!!! The question you should be asking is how do you read a gravity figure ahhhhhh

Sorry, I'm not trying to be argumentative for the sake of it, but you've simply got this wrong: it just isn't!

The term "gravity" is defined above.

Think about an example, if you don't follow the reasoning:-

Product A: 10 affiliates sell 2,000 copies each (it happens - the product doesn't attract more affiliates because its gravity is very low and this is what potential affiliates mistakenly judge by).
Product B: 100 affiliates each struggle to sell one copy because although the gravity's high, the conversion of the sales page is actually dreadful (this happens, too).

Product B is the high gravity product.

It's not about the number of sales: it's about the number of affiliates who have each made one or more sale.

"Popularity", also, is not an inherent indication of conversion-rates, contrary to what many people believe, but that's a whole different discussion for a different thread.

 

It could happen, but it's unlikely. High-gravity products are proven to convert. I'm speaking from personal experience, I have several products, some in the 25-30 gravity range, and my best one has a 300+ gravity and is in the top 10 products by gravity in the Clickbank marketplace.

Of course, the 300+ gravity product performs the best, both for me and the affs. The affs are managing to get a huge volume of sales, which means there's a huge market, and that the product converts. I can also say this from personal experience, back when I wasn't working as a vendor, and was promoting products as an affiliate, I made the most money with high-gravity products, rather than lower-gravity ones. It was much easier to get plenty of traffic for the higher gravity product.

High gravity product = Huge Niche = Huge Market = Tons of keywords = Tons of ways to get traffic and sales

I mean, when Porsche decided to make the Porsche Cayenne, with which they entered the very competitive SUV (niche) market, I'm sure they didn't think 'The SUV market is too competitive, every car manufacturer has a SUV in their lineup', but they thought 'This is a huge market (niche), we can dominate it and make a lot of money, huge amount of customers'. It's been a few years since the cayenne started selling, and since it went public, it has been the best selling vehicle of the Porsche lineup, outselling all the boxsters, 911's, cayman's .

The big niches is where the real money is at. Yes, smaller niches can make you money, but the real gold mine is where there's huge demand and a huge market

I know that many "beginning affiliates" imagine that high gravity products necessarily have higher numbers of sales than lower gravity products. Not only is this not so, but under some circumstances the exact opposite can be the case.

We're just going to have have to agree to disagree about it, I think. My purpose in posting was simply to try to clarify to people that gravity is not in itself an indication of conversion-rates. I was myself labouring under this misapprehension for a long time at the start of my affiliate career, until I learned better and became more successful at it.
