7, people are bitching about how 7 might be a BIT slower then XP, and even though its not, it should be, its 10 YEARS FREAKING NEWER.
windows 7 owns hands down, no competition with XP.

Depends on your machine. I think the Windows greatness pyramid goes like this now 7 > XP > 3.1 > Vista

I'll stick to XP. Just trying out vista for a day just left me with a bad first impression that all microsoft did was make a cool GUI. Why should I try my luck with 7?

Windows 7 Anytime...Its lot more stable and powerful than Vista and much better than my current XP. Can't wait to get hands on the RTM version.

Haven't tried Windows 7. But at this point I'm still happy with Windows XP. I do agree with you TS that XP is more stable & user-friendly compare to Vista. What I just like about vista is its Design :)

Can't believe it myself. I'm actually looking forward to getting it installed the day its out. I usually wait at least a year and a half before even bothering with a new version of windows.

People are still using windows 98 and Ie 6, I guess its gonna take a lot of time to get people to change over to Windows 7.

i think windows 7 is just one more marketing gimmick from microsoft... its a coverup for windows xp bugs... windows 7 requires lots of resources ....
