Keywords for my website?

I am having difficulty selecting keywords for my website.

My website is rather original so people would very rarely search intending to find a website like mine.

    Website is www.teddynation.com

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Google tool should get you going. If you want exact searches, then wordtracker is a good tool.

Google Adwords Keyword Tool really is a good way to start.

    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

When you get there you can just click on the radio button beside "Website content" from the left, type http://www.teddynation.com/ in the text box under "Enter a webpage URL to find keywords related to the content on the page.", then click the "Get keyword ideas" button.

You'll then be presented keyword suggestions by category.

Just select keywords which more people are typing into the search engines but with not too much competition so that you will have little or no difficulty ranking your site for your keywords.

Don't forget also to write additional text information on your webpage containing your target keyword. You can target 1-3 relevant keywords on your home page and just one keyword each for the rest of your web site's pages.
