I have been working on this site for almost two months now and have asked for reviews in the past. With this new update i think i have it where i want it. If you where a customer answer these questions. 1. would you buy form this site 2. if not then why 3. what do you think can improve this site and generate buying customers. 4. give any criticism that comes to mind. 1. You're wasting alot of space in the header. 2. I would remove the inner site border and add an outer site border (the one that now disappears) cause as soon as it blends with the white as you scroll down it doesn't look too good. 3. There's some debug info at the bottom of the page that you should remove (nr of queries, etc) Would I buy from this site? Probably not. It doesn't look all that trustworthy to me. Also, as I tried to check the checkout process, it was required to create an account, I hate that. Allow guest checkouts please. It would also need at least paypal or google checkout as a payment provider and you should already tell this on the site instead of waiting until the end of the checkout process.
Think you for your advice. Im keeping the account sign in for check outs. just about every trust worthy site has it.
like premiumscripts said - reduce the header space and get rid of the inner site border (no one likes to scroll on a home page). A logo would be nice (it adds credibility- ps. use the sprint mobile logo for inspiration) . Set your borders in % so that it can stretch or contract to various resolutions. eg. if i have a wide screen, I see your background on either side. Attempt those changes and update. colors are good but a lot of empty space on header. i'll not buy products at store like this because you have very limited number of products. just 1 hard drive. add more products and your store will be more "alive"
1. I wouldnt buy from the site 2. I thinkit looks too generic (like it'll rip me off) 3. I would make it look more professional. Just like Best buys or something like that
The design can be improved a lot from what it is right now.. I'll suggest that you should hire a professional designer.
1. Most likely not 2. It looks like you don't have an SSL...? 3. -You have way too much space in the header. -You need more products, will look more professional -It seems slightly plain to me. Maybe put a few more advertisements/banners up. Overall pretty good though. Good luck.
You need a better theme and SSL/site encryption if you are to sell things. But the main problem is the theme because it looks cookie-cutter and generic. Find a good theme to buy if you can't design one yourself.
