    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Why you have a LOW CTR + How to Fix it!

"When you search the internet for AdSense Placement,
you want articles about AdSense Placement, not AdSense in general"

"The more specific your ads can be, the more clicks you will get"

"Put yourself in the mind of the user. If you're looking for stuff
about the New York Giants, you don't want to see stuff advertising the
    San Francisco Giants."

Why you have a Low CTR
If you have great ad placement, great colors, and everything in between, you
have a low CTR because your ads aren't meeting the reader's needs.

    Example of Poor Relevancy:

    Example of Improved Relevancy:

    What you can do!

    1. Competitive ad filter - If you're getting the same advertisements
for a lot of your site, and they have nothing to do with your site, use the
competitive ad filter to block them.

    2. Section Targeting - If you have a lot of junk in your sidebar and
outside of your main content area, you may want to make AdSense ignore
this area. Trust me, your sidebars and outside of the content area greatly
    influences your advertisements.

    3. Keyword Density - If all else fails, check the keyword density for
your main words. This is my favorite tool! If you see that general words
are beating out your specific niche for that page, you may want to decrease
the general words, and increase the specific niche words.

    4. Remove and Replace AdSense code - If all else out of all else fails,
remove the Ad Code for that page, and replace it with new code. I believe
this will cause the bots to crawl the page to see what it's about.

Difference between a 1% and 30% + CTR is Relevancy...

You may think your ads are relevant. You write a post about Home Acne
Treatment, and they display acne ads. However, that isn't enough. The
more specific you can get your ads to be to the content, the more clicks
    you will get.

Remember, put yourself in the mind of the user. If you're looking for stuff
about the New York Giants, you don't want to see stuff advertising the
San Francisco Giants. Get my drift
    ?

I know this seems like common sense, but so many people simply write content
and call it good. You really do have to go back and check your keyword densities.
Make sure your ads are relevant!

I don't quite understand what you're asking. Did you read my article, or did
you skim it? Because it's definitely worth reading. People wonder why they
don't get clicks... this is why.

The improved relevant ads in your pic is about the same as the non-improved relevant ads.

Not really. The first is irrelevant
    Title: Home Acne Treatment
    Ad: Treat Teen Acne

    The second is more relevant
    Title: Natural Acne Treatment
    Ad: #1 Organic Acne Treatment

"organic" and "natural" match. What's the difference
anyway? Just looking for something to pick at? This
post will definitely help people... The last thing I'd be
    worried about is the picture.

Helpful. Thanks. I just add some filters to some of my ads to make them more relevant with content.

Good information. This will also help improve the cost per click.

Also you need to use all the possibilites adsense allow, adsense search (2), adsense adlinks (3)
OK it can look too much, but if you integrate them well to your page, it won't be too much.
