    Hi,

It is a sub domain name that is free for the first year. It is better to go for a top- level domain name as it is troublesome to switch from a sub-domain name after you have done all the advertising work.

Just noticed this thread, it was exactly what I was looking for :) I won't be getting any more .co.cc's anymore unless it is temp. Looks like your cheaper buying a .info domain for 2 years.

They give the free domain for 1 year. Then charge 3$/year.

i think it's free for now. As they will grow they will start charging some bucks from you.

There’s no doubt it is free just for the first year. After the first year they will charge.

It's a subdomain. You have no protection. They can change the rules, increase fees, or yank the name away from you and there is nothing you can do about it.

web.com used to offer free subdomains but changed ownership and their business model and everyone lost their domain names.
