Yeh i think Willhaynes entry is great. Out the box thinking. All the elements are there just different structure. Very nice.

 

Yeah I think its a very good design, I'm just jealous heh. I'm the kind of person to follow every instruction I'm given unless told to be creative.

Xavier_3D - You have the right idea - I like the clean lines of your design. I think it's a little too bold with the colors though. I don't like the top left with these signs: >>>> that could just be blank and I could put an ad there for something else.
I like the follow us alright but only need T for Twitter, StumbleUpon, Delicious and Facebook. You reminded me of two I forgot about. Where it says "Blog Alerts" make it say something like "From the blog" I don't like the S design in the center.
I like the book. Otherwise it's just a bit too bold. I don't know really how to say how to change it beyond what I've said....

willhaynes - yours is the best so far. However, I'd like to lighten it up some. The blue at the bottom is so heavy. I'd like the blue for the top headlines and shade the bottom a lighter color (blue or gray). Also the black for the navigation - make it the blue or something lighter than the black. I don't want pastels but I lighter.

 

designz - great job on the book cover itself - it looks sharp. Otherwise I don't really like the background color (maybe just have it white after the top navigation). The headings need to be bigger and more distinct from everything else on the page. I'd like the tabs across the top larger.

V06-TECH - #18 entry bottom one is the best so far. The center looks good it's just the top design and bottom design and colors that are still not what I'm looking for. Otherwise I like it.

Fraz - I like how you've done the Connect section. I like the book cover but the colors are changed to green and I need them to be the colors they actually are. This is a real book not just an ebook. I don't like the top banner - the color or the look. There doesn't need to be words under "Online PR Book.com" at the top. The right hand side besides the connect doesn't have good balance - I'm not really sure how to put it. Try organizing it differently.

I like the creativity and different designs I've seen though I haven't picked one. I want it to look good. As long as it has the book cover and other elements I outlined it's OK if you change it around some.

I will try reworking mine again. I keep thinking too hard. I need to go with simplicity.

So far I have changed the colors of my design and I feel it looks a lot better. I also added those new follow us logos u mentioned in some feedback above, I will post the revision when I'm complete.

 

The >>>>> icon is just a random thing to be placed. I'll change it with an AD Spot right away. Lolz the center one is my company watermark. You can remove that if my design is selected. That doesnot contribute to your design. You want a softer look?

V06-TECH - this is much better!

 

jnjnnino - yours is the best so far! again!

A few changes: I want the navigation to have a blog tab (I forgot to mention). Take the book graphic off the "buy" button. Could you make the button say "Buy Now" instead of "Buy Book Now." On the arrow, could you make it say: "Get your free guide to SEO press releases." I also don't like the mirrored effect - just the shadow in back. Could you put the reviews section where the what's new section is and remove all the arrow heads except on the big arrow. And move the search to below the navigation (unless you think it will look bad there).
