    Hi all

Just wanted to share a great tool with you.

I am sure alot of you are allready using this, but I havent really seen it mentioned.. So here goes..

    http://www.metricsmarket.com/tools/trafficchecker/

I allways use this to give an indication of the traffic before purchasing advertising (or the site itself)..

It doesent work on all sites and it isent 100% accurate..

But still.. It works pretty good and I havent seen anything like it..

As I recall this tool is just using a calculation based on Alexa ranking. Thus, it isn't very accurate at all ;)

I dont think you are right though..

It may be inacurate but I dont think it uses Alexa as its only indicator. I have plenty of sites with Alexa rankings that cant be measured by this tool..

Promo, I would agree with you that it seems it doesn't use Alexa as it's only indicator. Actually, I would add to that that it seems it doesn't even use it as *one of* the important indicators as Alexa doesn't give my site almost any credit at all and this tool is just toooo freakin' generous to my site :D - I like it! ;)

Well it was over a year ago I last looked into this site (when it was definitely using a calculation based on alexa ranking).

Maybe they've factored something else in since then, but it still seems to me that their numbers cannot be based on a reliable sample.
