Why have my earnings been deducted?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Trisha, Aug 19, 2009.

The whole of my June earnings appear to have been deducted from my AdSense account for no apparent reason. The only thing that has changed is that my earnings have been reported in GBP since July and the June earnings were given in US dollars. I can't find any way to contact the AdSense team and when I tried to contact the support team they pointed me to a help page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure they have been deducted? Have a look down the bottom of your payment history page to make sure.

Google is pushing its luck with AdSense: no customer support, holier-than-thou attitude, secrecy in how much of the revenues it shares, "missing" clicks and earnings, etc. I predict there will be a lot of backlash from both AdWords advertisers and AdSense publishers in the near future and Google will fall from its perch a bit.

It appears to be an issue mostly with UK accounts. Read this thread at the Adsense support forum for others with the same problem:

It may be this "known issue":

Thanks very much for your replies. I think it is just a temporary glitch although it does look as if the amount has been deducted. I'll wait and see what happens.

I agree. The time is ripe for the other PPC advertisers to step in
