    Hi there,

Can any expert tell me please how to find and use the related keywords while writing an article around a targeted keyword/topic?

What should be the ratio of the related keywords to avoid spamming factor in the article.

How to optimize the article for related keywords

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards
    Ts

I can't remember the site address (I shall find it for you) but there are sites out there you can enter your keyword and it'll bring up the most searched keywords associated with what you've typed in.

From what I've found as well, you want to keep the keywords to around maybe 4% to 5% of the article to avoid it being classified as spam. Obviously, the clever trick is to get the keywords or phrases into the article to fit the natural flow of it, rather than just stuff it.

    1. Use google adwords tool - It's my favorite keyword research tool.
    2. Keep keyword density 3-4 %. I use keywords 3-4 times in the article body, but not more. I also include the main keyword in the beginning of the title.
    3. Try to focus on long-tail keywords. From my experience, I can tell that if properly chosen, long-tail keywords may get you to the 1st page of Google within 1-3 days.

    4. While optimizing your article:

Use keyword once at the beginning of your article or at least in the 1st paragraph, then second and third keyword in the middle of article (better if you include in subheadlines) and 4th keyword should be in the last paragraph.

    Hope these tips help.

Long tail keyword is 2, 3 or 4 phrases of keywords. More longer your article make your article more natural in search engines and doesn't look keywords stuffing or spammy.

Exactly right, the only thing I'll add is that it's best to use your keyword phrase within the first 200 characters of the article body itself, rather than anywhere within the first paragraph.

That was good advice. I think this topic is always up for debate though as Google changes all the time.

This is a free tool you can use. There is also a paid version I think.

What I usually do is to research the topic, and spend a few minutes thinking what could be related to it. Once I've done that, I usually end up with an article that DOES contain related keywords in a natural flow, without forcing anything.
