Is your job affected by recession ?

What is your job (or source of income) and you are affected by "this recession" ? IF yes, ( I doubt you will say NO ,even if you are a doctor) then how much in % is your profit affected. And why ? (ex. your landlord ask to much $ for the rent, no to many clients, or there are plenty of clients but they buy little,or you a programmer and you can't find to much work , or you can find but not at the same price)

    **********************************
I know there are many threads already started about recession, but I opened this thread because now we are in T3 (Semester 3 of the year) , and i think we should discuss what is now in T3 and maybe in T4, and not what it was 1 year ago when nobody know what this recession is meaning,etc...
I just want to say that 1 year ago lot of people where thinking the recession will last a few months that is just a moment situation, etc (because of that many landlord didn't sold houses , they where just waiting having a bear and laughing about "the others guys" they saw on TVs), lot of people where thinking that doctors will earn much more, others where thinking that Luxury will never go down,etc.... now we saw that all this where wrong, so i decided to open a new thread about T3/T4 of 2009 :)
And by the way ... this thread is only for serious guys :)

Not all indurstries have got injured due to this economic crisis. Instead of rocking off, some industries such as SEO got rocket up in this recession. That's because for trade industries, turn to seo for help is the lowest investment comparatively.
Don't be frustrated, you are still junior, still have one more year to prepare for job hunting. With so much time, you can have a deep thought about what you are going to do as a job. In this information age, idea is money. Keep your mind creative and then no worry about job!

I've actually noticed a boost writing wise. However, as I'm just a lowly student, to beat the recession, myself and a group of friends are going to have a crack at developing a game or two for steam as independent developers, in our last year. As there's no cost involved, apart from pints at the pub, we'll either make nothing, thus breaking even, or make a small profit. If it turns into a profit, I think we're going to keep it up, rather than get a normal day job due to this whole unemployment crisis.
