One problem that many newbie internet marketers face is that they are not able to get traffic from Google, and other search engines for that matter... Are you one of these people or do you have the traffic "equation" figured out? Here is a thought: If you are someone who struggles to get traffic, respond to this thread and explain what you have been doing that is not effective. If, however, you are someone who does well with traffic, this is your chance to help others - what methods of traffic generation are most effective for you?
Easy - just get ranked high in all your niches. If you can't - try less competitive niches. That's how you get traffic.
I was targeting keywords that weren't seeing much traffic at all so I've decided to change em up and focus on a couple different keywords with a little more traffic potential.
Sometimes it helps to use long tailed keywords with less competition, and optimize your website with these terms. Also, if you aren't getting much traffic, it helps to get backlinks from high PR sites such as Digg.com and Ezinearticles.com. Unique content also plays a role...
Me facing that problem to get traffic. I did link exchange, bookmarking, blog posting, added meta tags, keyword analysis, h1, h2, h3 tags, image alt tags. And also participating in forums. Till i am not getting traffic to my website. Is there anything wrong done by me.
My goal is to get my sites on the first page of google for my chosen keywords which are also included in my sites content.I do this obviously through link building on high PR sites.
