Hello I'm planning to create another website and I don't an idea right now on what particular niche should I focus on.

Can you guys give me an idea on what niche should I focus on? I want something that is easy to advertise and easy to create backlinks by blog commenting and building links on a community forums.

    Thanks!

Forum signature links don't carry much weight. If you were planning to build backlinks mainly with forum posting, you better rethink your strategy. Nothing that's worth your time and effort is going to be easy or even relatively easy. I ain't trying to preach, it's just the truth. Unless you are bringing something new to the game, you'll face heavy competition where there is money, so be prepared to do the work.

The internet is not really new anymore. Every day there are less and less new people going online, because everyone (well not everyone but a big chunk of worlds population) has gone online by now. This is not 1999, or 2000 when everything was relatively new. You will just have to pick something and beat your competition at it...

To be honest, it's almost proven that you do not want an untouched niche.

For several reasons, but you stand a 1 in 10 chance of having an area someone else's tested (or several someone's) and it's not profitable.

Going into areas other people have already proven, that already have established traffic, and established buyers and using their keywords, their marketing strategies, but creating a product or an affiliate with a TWIST over the original is best.

I don't agree. The trick is finding an underserved or expanding niche.

Take a look at what's online for seniors for example. The kids have youtube, twitter, facebook, etc, but there's not much out there targeting the AARP crowd. The Internet is clearly lopsided towards younger users, but all of us early adopters are getting older, and the boomers are still coming online in droves. I'd lay odds that biggest gains in coming years will be among companies serving seniors.

There are a million underserved and expanding little niches ready to be exploited.

Take a look at Clickbank. You can browse through there and see which niches are hot right now and which ones have a good track record.
