Hey all, I am still failry new to ppc and while I have my own affiliate program, I find that it is so hard to find good affiliates, or worth while partners that have good quality traffic. There are just so many people out there that claim to have good traffic, but they never do and as a result they get banned. If you have any hints or helpful points please let me know. I have some very worthwhile feeds and would like to develop long relationships with partners, but I have to find them first......they are out there somewhere. Thanks all for any help you can give me.
Traffic from Google is the quality traffic and there is nothing else in reality. You will have to work on your site's SEO to get traffic from Google. OR Else try Networking sites for getting quick traffic.
PPC and EO traic is the best, they are targeted and provide best conversion rate. By the way, your website content is the most important actor to attract the visitor
Traffic from search engines (mostly google) and article directories (mostly ezine) is what I consider quality ones...
Can't you make like a post on craigslist that'll get a lot of people interested and email the rest to your redirect link for traffic? I haven't tried it but I heard it worked several times.
i've been seeing this PR Web advertised with a banner on here, digital point. anyone tried it? Looks like a news blast to several news sites online, cnn, aol, etc. ? topix? $200/ad...kind of tempting.
create Youtube vids based on a tight niche, put your url in the description and watermark it into the video itself
based on personal theory: 1 Have a clear and concise subject for the website. One that is trending, or will continue to be popular. 2 Always add new content. For blogs, add 1 new post a day, for sites, try to improve at least 1 section a day. 3 Don't write anything personal or emotional. Being emotional usually doesn't make readers want to view your site. Not to be harsh, but it's not about you. Readers come to your site initially for their own interests. 4 Keep up with your competitors. Research and make notes about high traffic websites with the same keywords, common interests, or subjects. 5 Be unique create an environment that excites your readers. When a viewer sees a website that looks just like everyone else's, no matter how interesting or unique your content may be, your viewers can easily become bored by not having enough visual stimulus. A simple way to avoid this is to include pictures with articles to break up your text, and/or using high contrast color schemes. 6 Make your ads non-intrusive. Putting them on the sidebar or footer will encourage your viewers to read on. Doing this will also make your load times shorter, so that you can have a broader audience. That's about all I can come up with for now. Not really meaning to be preachy or anything, but it's a few ideas I've picked up over the past few years. oh yeah - I love what AC-Coach is saying. Featuring youtube videos or other high volume social networking sites will encourage lots of traffic. Granted the content is good.
Kinda not right, but close. Many times you have to advertise to get what you want. Nothing else? Could you be any dumber if you tried? And organic traffic isn't that good. Highcotton5622, go to such affiliate boards as abestweb.com. Many pros hang out over there. If you haven't already, do a search for "affiliate networks.'' Sites like LinkShare, Sharasale, Commision Junction will show up. Also check out your competitiors' sites. What are they doing? Who are they using? Do a keyword search on their name, along with affiliate to dig even more. You may have to settle with the little guys selling for you. Make it up through volume. The more of them who sell your stuff, the more money that comes in. One more thing...do a search on your product, service, along with the word affiliates. Do a slew of searches. Example: Selling reebok shoes affiliates Try to think outside the box like this. Don't forget advertising offline, too. Put an ad in the help section, or wherever, for people looking for more money to earn.
Takes time, could take money too or just more time... keep meeting people, leaving lins and networking, writing articles... everything else all said here. Good Luck!
I would recommend you to combine the following marketing methods at a time: 1. Article Marketing - You will reach highly targeted audience 2. PPC advertising 3. Contact popular blog and site owners to offer your affiliate program Btw, what is your product? Maybe I would be interested in promotion of it.
