    The best way to bring traffic would obviously be seo but if you want a quick boost in traffic then buying it is the way to go.

    SEO is definitely the way to go, unless you just want a quick jump in your traffic (to impress someone or something like that)... then you can go with PPCs.

    SEO should always be a part of your marketing plan but is not the only way to get traffic.
    Most often bought bulk traffic is a waste of money if it is not specifically targeted traffic.
    It can also get you into trouble with Adsense in case you care.
    Adwords works well but there can be a large cost factor in learning.

    I never meant to say that SEO is the only way to go... but it must be greatly taken into account when designing your website. I've personally seen the difference between getting natural hits and buying PPC traffic. And I used to rank No 1 for keywords like html tutor, flash tutor, javascript tutor a few years ago. That was before I got banned for exploiting adsense :rolleyes:.
