Hey People My friend is looking to setup a blog and apply for adsense. He asked me what he should do in order to get accepted by google? The problem is that I am not into adsense, I haven't bothered myself to get an adsense account. So I thought I'd ask you guys for help. Any help will be appreciated.
Tell him to get a good layout and post atleast 15 to 20 unique and quality articles. Wait for some time to get them indexed in search engines and then apply for Adsense.
Thanks for the tips. I was browsing the adsense forum earlier today and read a thread that tells the domains need to be more than six month old in order to get accepted. Also, is there a need of TOS or privacy policy page?
Although people insist that your site / blog should be at least 6 months old before being considered by google, there have been circumstances where a new blog / site has been accepted by the google for adsense. Fill your site with good contents and improve traffic.
like others have said,make sure that your writing is good - i mean since its human review you will be rejected if the post quality is too bad.Having a navigation and a little amount of posts is enough to get approval.
Dont rush for it, spend some time to write more unique quality content, and read the google program policy
Your friend needs good blog posts with 30 quality articles on the related subject of the blog. Six months registration is essential or you can purchase the domain name which is 6 months to 10 months old from another person to start instantly. (This is smart idea I convey only to my clients). Now it will be everywhere.
I will say select a nice friendly theme ! Get some content as well as decent traffic. And then you can apply ! within 20 days from when you started the blog. - Digital -

Setup a blog - I will provide him a domain which is around 11 month old Design - I will hook him up with a premium wordpress theme Content - I have told him to write 15 high quality articles. He will post one everyday and he is going to promote the blog by various means. Regarding traffic - Is it ok to have 50 unique visitors per day? What about the TOS and privacy policy page? Regards
get a site with enough content, submit with e-mail contains your domain ( that's confirm your ownership ) let him setup site map, let him read adsense terms of service carefully and he will know more about what is better and what is not!
yes try with hubpages and also try to apply directly with blogger monetize section. put some quality and pure content. dont put the duplicate content..
Somebody I am helping set up a wordpress.com free blog just a month ago, he's made about 8 postings. He applied for Adsense and got accepted within 2-3 hours. It doesn't seem as hard/long as it used to be.
I agree. I have a blog that's less than 4 weeks old with about 10 articles posted and got accepted by adsense
