I have always had good luck with craigslist gigs section. Also, check out the jobs I posted today in my sig. There are some content jobs there, several in fact, with links to apply.

    Good luck!

I've written for Demand Studios for two years. Once accepted, you may select from available titles and write according to their Style and format. Not too difficult, but all articles are edited before being approved. DS pays $15 per article and I write approx 1 in an hour. Some writers are faster.

Getafreelancer.com is good and I've been contacted by people who have read my articles posted on ezinearticles.com, etc. Whatever writing you put out there is a good advertisement for your work.

You might also want to think about advertising your services here at the Buy, Sell and Trade section.

    Good luck :)

I've wanted to try copywriting for a while, but it seems like you'd have to do a lot of $15-$25 articles to make a living...

And ebooks at $100 - $300 (saw that on your site, Kat), what's the typical process when writing an ebook for a client - as far as research, etc.?

It seems like the research portion could take as long as the writing. Is this correct? Any tips or tricks as far getting clients and/or writing for clients/topics you're not already familiar with?

Just to let you know... what you'd be doing is content writing. Not copywriting. They're very different.

Yep, ebooks are all about the research. The research will take longer than the writing, but it's worth it in the long run. You're work will be better and it makes it easier to write.

To get clients... you need to be able to show them examples of your work and you'll also need some past customer testimonials. It's a good idea to have a website too.

Give me shout if you need any help.

    I hope this helps. :)

I established my writing through my own site, then put a Hire Me section on there and have done pretty well, since I was already getting traffic.

The buy / sell / trade forum here - other forums, freelanceswitch.com, problogger.net, other high profile blogs like that are also worth trying.

I looked into GAF, but I won't write 30 articles of 500 words for $30, which is what most of those nuts want.

You should look into Need-an-Article and Text Broker, among the other places people listed here.

    Hello,

What should I expect to pay for a one page sales letter?

Getafreelancer for cheaply-priced articles. Constant-content for highly-priced articles. I haven't had a look at the others.
