The traffic here is very terrible. Every time when I take a bus to work or go home, I have to spend a lot of energy. We are packed crowded in the bus. If it is raining, traffic jams are everywhere. Traffic jam drives me nuts!
How about the traffic in your city?

If you live in a city, you have to cope up with traffic jam. It is a global phenomenon.

But I have a solution to be in time in your office. Why not stay in office itself? (provided your boss accepts :) )

oh its terrible here as well...I work on a crowded city and everyday, whether when I'm going to work or going home, it would take me 2 hours travelling. If I take the train, the people would crush me to death because its also over crowded. I miss working at home... :(

Not too bad here but more than what I would like. I don't think I could live in a big city because of the crowds all the time. I feel for those who do.

Where I live, they've been working on the same bridge/stretch of Motorway for years, with no changes yet.

That means long queues and delays to get from work.

Its not so bad for me here in Montreal. I lived in Toronto for a while, the 401 gets a lil bit tight during peak hours. I sometimes used the 407 toll road.

You should try to meditate while your stuck in traffic. You will eventually enjoy being stuck in traffic and it will also benefit your mental and physical health. Look for a book called "Peace is Every Step" by the vietnamese buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hahn. It will teach you to meditate while you walk, eat, wash the dishes, drive, etc. It also covers a lot of important subjects like getting in touch with the beauty in the world, how to deal with destructive emotions, cultivating compassion, etc.

As long as we relay most upon personal cars and not public transport, traffic jams will be with us forever.

Same thing here, live right near the bay and 2 blocks from the seaside bridge to the island. summer time this place is packed everyone from New York city and north jersey, Philadelphia etc come here for vacation.
with my job I have to drive out to do repairs for heating and air, always stuck in traffic. oh and the New jersey parkway forget about it after 4pm If I do a service call up north, takes forever to get back.

during rush hour, there can be lots of traffic here, especially since they are always working on the roads.
