From HostGator to 000webhost

I'm might consider transferring from HostGator to 000webhost. It does come with some good features and much cheaper. For HostGator I have the baby plan $7.95, which is unlimited everything, and Im planning on transfer to the 00webhost one which costs $4.00 and unlimited everything. I need to know if I am making the right choice switching? For people using paid 000webhost, is it a better webhost than HostGator? Does it have better support than HostGator? What extra great features does it have?

To Moderators: If I posted in the wrong section, im sorry I couldn't find the appropriate section for this. Move the topic if you have to, just don't give me an infraction for admitting if I posted in the wrong section.

    Thanks

there is no such thing as unlimited, so both hosts are not even worth considering. unlimited is a lie

Hostgator is a quietly reputed host and quite trust worthy

I haven't heard much more reviews about paid service of 000webhost so I suggest to stick with Hostgator rather than to move to 000webhost.

Ok thank you for your suggestions. Just one more question. On the 000webhost paid they are offering Reseller Feature. Is this an actual reseller option where you can host other peoples websites? because it seems kind of weird.

I agree there is nothing like unlimited. They will throttle your speed or put some limitations once you cross the limits. I have heard of 000webhost having problem with speed.

Hostgator gives 25 processs limit and its managed automatically so i guess its quite possible for them coz ppl dont actually use so much space i guess and if they do these host may then warn u or take u down

The trust factor is the major issue with 000webhost...

Good reminder. Hostgator is a good hosting. Think more than twice before switching to another hosting company.

    Webhosting Talk is great indeed.

But 1 advice: let's test yourself too on a test website and use the 30 day money back guarantee.

I just did it and cancelled an alternative hoster I was not happy with.

It's true, always make sure that there is a money back guarantee before you sign up for any host.

I wouldn't go for either of them, try this instead:

    http://www.hostrocket.com

Used them for two years, truely an awesome hosting company!
