The chain letter re-posted at the beginning of this thread is a total fake.

None of the pictures below the phrase "THE COLORFUL CITY OF HIROSHIMA" actually show this city. Instead they were taken in Yokohama, a port city some 670 km (420 miles) east of Hiroshima, halfway across the country. Specifically, they show the "Minato Mirai 21" ("Future Port 21") district of Yokohama, a part of the harbour that has been redeveloped as a tourist attraction. It is the second biggest tourist attraction in Yokohama after Yokohama Chinatown.

The pictures looking down on to the ocean front were taken from the Landmark Tower highrise building, the tallest in Yokohama and one of the tallest Japan.

Next to the Ferris Wheel are the Minato Mirai World Porter shopping mall and the Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel (the building with the rounded roof shape).

Using a different city for contrast is a bit like showing pictures of after the Pearl Harbour attack in 1941, followed by shots of Las Vegas at night time in 2009 and claiming it was the same place, only 68 years later (not a perfect analogy, but the best I can come up with right now). I can not understand what kind of a sick person would come with a fake like that.
