    India & Pakistan aren't arabic countries, that's for sure.. And as far as I know DP has lots of indian and pakistani members!

    LOL This is a funny thread. :p I have to admit, I am one of the ignorant few who can't tell the difference from Arabs, Indians, Pakistans & Muslims. They all look kinda the same to me. :)

    well you need to make a difference dude...
    make a difference between Arabs (that are mostly Muslims) , and the Islam it self.
    In other hand, there is Arab people that are Muslims, christians, ......, or what ever so...

    To cover the head (please call it: "Al Hijab"), because that related to Islam religion.

    In addition, we dont have any problem with any other religion.

    perhaps, Indians aint Arabs, a good % of indians are Muslims thats why they "cover their head" A.K.A "Al Hijab"..

    but other % of indians aint muslims BUT FOR THEIR CULTURES and TRADITIONS they wear like that and that have no relation to islam.....

    Well I am Lebanese Arab (living in Canada tho), but we are not a majority here from what I see.

    The most popular demographic groups I see on the forum are Indians/Pakistanis and Americans.

    Lol, there is no "standard" look for any nationality, especially Arabs, since they are spread out accross the Middle East, and some would be darker, others more light skinned that they could easily pass for an Italian or Greek, etc.

    Yes, I understand all your points. Their may have the same skin colour, but their ethnic background is different.

    Like for example, my friend is black from Jamiaca, if I didnt know him, how would I identify him as being Jamaican?, he could be African. Without me being the same ethnic as him or telling me I wouldnt know ;).

    So to summarise, you can automatically identify if someone is the same ethnic as you.

    Anyone understand my view? :rolleyes:

    I new, but the title was shocking for me too.. since i never seen any arab here in DP (ofcourse before coming to this thread where i find Mohie). Also my assumption was mostly belong to US or India... pakistan has very less traffic as compare to these two. & certainly Pakistanis are not Arabic...
