    I think KINGSTON is better. The reason is because it has the best memory and because of their Quality Control.

    I only have experienced using Kingston RAM for my PC. So can't say about Corsair. For performance, you should compare the RAM latency. Lower latency results in better performance

    For the 2nd question, you can download Everest Home Edition, a freeware system information tool.

    I also prefer Kingston. Never had a problem with their RAM.

    I'd pick Kingston over Corsair just based on personal experience with kits from each company. I would say my favorite given price, performance, and aesthetics (for what their worth in RAM) would be G.Skill.

    It's impossible to say, that one is better...at least if you are not overclocking.

    So it just narrows down to the pricing of these items, for me Kingston is cheaper that Corsair.
