Yes :) My site's on the front page for most of my preferred keywords! Although i cannot believe one site that is one results above me has the "This site may harm your computer." message. These sites should be deindexed and removed from the SERPS!

Seems very similar to me - my sites are in about the same position for most terms, and have risen a little for others.

From the few limited searches that I've done, it appears that Google is favouring the authority sites even more than before, making them harder to beat on specific keyword phrases. It's also favouring sites which have more optimised backlinks. Ezines articles appear to be getting a boost as well.

open two tabs, one for sandbox.google.com and one for google.com. search for a random term. compare and look for differences. you won't find many.

the announcement is self-contradictory. cutts says you won't notice any difference, it's all "under the hood". But he says they do want your feedback. so they want feedback on something that hasn't changed?

it's just corporate hype from a google pitchman if you ask me.

either that or they are worried paranoid about bugs and another major debacle which gets them in the news headlines, like searching for "pervert" and getting the pope as the number 1 result.

Mine seem to be pretty close to the same, I really didn't see much of a difference in ranking...I'm surprised as it's pretty competitive key words that I was comparing.

Shows worse placements for my blogspot blog. My blog on the current Google search engine ranks me on the first page. On that new search, I'm all the way back on 4th page, lol, I don't like what I see.
