how social bookmarking is helpful in improving you page rank and google ranking

i heard that social bookmarking is quite handy in getting rank improvement, can some guide me that how it help in SEO and how many bookmarking per day are sufficient. Is there any limit for this per day? and what is the proper way to do this ???

there is no point in submitting to just about any social bookmarking sites as most of them are worthless pligg/scuttle sites. if you can submit to 100-200 good ones, then thats all you need. social bookmarking is not something that you do on a continious basis but i you still want to do it, then 30 a day would not be an issue. just dont submit to the same sites over and over

 

You are chasing the wrong target I believe. Social bookmarking can send you good traffic, if you have a link bait in the article, you can also get a lot of natural backlinks. Apart from that they can't help you much.

 

Make sure if you use social bookmarking sites that they must have good alexa, I use digg.com, listyoururl.com sphin.com and a few others.

Social bookmarking provides link to the site that you book mark. thus the crawler when comes on SBM sites, they will consider you link and will crawl through that link. but majority of the SBM Sites use nofollow link which means their PR will not be transffered but the crawler is going to crawl you book marked link.

 

I think Social bookmarking gives you Traffic as well as Good Backward links for your siteand Some times It gives you the sale also. I have got 4 sale from Bookmarking with in last 6 months

I don't see any benefit in Google PageRank if BMS is using NOFOLLOW. It gives you good traffic.
