Don't become overwhelmed with getting listed with DMOZ, I've tried for the last 3 years to submit a plethora of sites to DMOZ and not one has gotten listed, even though they all were quite relevant. I've found the DMOZ moderators to be very picky, and if that moderator has websites listed in the same category you are trying to submit to, forget about ever getting a listing. Instead of DMOZ worry about getting relevant in-bound links from other related sites, in the long run you'll do much better.
It takes a long time to get listed in DMOZ, depending upon the editor. Don't worry about it too much, just submit and forget.
The approval time in Dmoz takes forever, almost. Just submit your site then forget about it. There are many other web directories out there where the approval time is a lot faster.
I would suggest you that Selects the Closest Category in DMOZ which is related to your site. And them Submit your site with Proper Title and You site will get listed with in next 15 days.
it is really take long time to list a site at DMOZ. one of site listed after 5 mounts.I submit that site several time.
yup, Its true Dmoz take alot of time to approve websitte, You have to submit once and then forget. Once in a year your website may be or may be not get approval :d
