$40 header and basic colour scheme contest - online Lego store

Hey all,

Following a great response to my last contest here's another to give a fresh look to an old website of mine. The URL is www dot the lego store dot co dot uk, as you can see this is a Lego store with a design and header which was very quickly knocked up and is well overdue a redesign. I have no specific requirements, but please ask if you have any questions.

While the basic structure of the site is fixed I'd quite like to change the orange/blue colour scheme of the menus, so if you can also suggest a change to fit in with your header design that would be really great.

There's $40 in it for the winner of the contest, which is going to be open for 48 hours - I'll keep the contest open to the end to give everyone a fair chance. It's just gone 9pm here in the UK on Thursday evening so I'll give everyone until 9pm UK time on Saturday evening to get their entries in. Payment will be done via Paypal.

Hi all, thanks for your entries so far. boom81 this is not bad, I'm not sure it really works with the rest of the site and may be a little too tall, and it's the Lego store, not logo store! Wickedd thanks for the entry but this isn't really the kind of thing I'm looking for, it's a little too basic and I'm not sure it would look that good with the rest of the design. Suke I like yours the most at the moment, this is definitely the kind of thing I'm looking for. Might be difficult to add to the site with the background etc. but I'm sure it would work ok.

Look forward to seeing some more designs everyone!

Sorry if it looks like I'm bumping this thread but I'm really surprised more people aren't interested in this, no one else care to enter? The price seems fair compared to other contests but if there are any particular issues can someone let me know? The $40 is burning a whole in my pocket!

The price is reasonable, and I want to enter, but it is the weekend, and so many people (myself included) aren't able to do much over the weekend.

I have had this thread tagged since it started and plan to enter... just a matter of having enough time.

 

Any update/feedback on this one?
