    Hello

I am just wondering what you prefer, Windows XP or Windows Vista?

I prefer Windows XP as it is more simple and you can play cracked games :D

I am not very much good at computers since my knowledge is limited to just using the computer for presentation during my training. I have used xp before but now I am using vista since its already installed in the laptop that I bought. Somehow, vista is great but i find xp much faster. So if you are after for performance, xp would be great. If you are after for appearance, vista would be the choice.

I actually prefer XP - it's simple and works. Vista on the other hand works most of the time, it has many features which are useless (to me anyway) and the visual style of it isn't my cup of tea. On computers with 1GB of RAM and a fairly slow processor Vista is painful to use. On a system like mine with 4GB of RAM and a decent processor, it's speedy to use but I still prefer XP.

I actually love the visual style of Vista and 7, but still not enough to put up with all the problems and hardware demands!

I suppose different people like different styles. I do like Windows 7, it seems clean and nicely made. Don't get me wrong, Vista isn't bad but I prefer simple XP.

Yeah, it takes about 700MB of my RAM doing nothing.

yeah I consider the hardware requirements of Vista just kinda excessive, especially when Compiz does the same effects and more with a fraction of the processing power.

I mean what is Aero DOING that requires all that power?

After using Vista, I don't see any reason going back to use XP. My computer don't have any problem at all with Vista.

But when Windows 7 is release officially, I definitely give it a shot.

Voted for Windows XP. Having no problems running all of the programs but I'm willing to explore more on Vista as soon as I got one especially the ultimate version.

One of the biggest mistake made by Microsoft is "Vista". Currently I'm using XP and If I want to upgrade, then I will go for Windows 7
