According to Google Analytics 166 unique visitors came through Bing while Awstats shows 335 visitors from Bing.

I wish Bing could have rough the same share as Google!!! The competition is always good.

I've noticed the same behaviour, too. Bing is sending some valuable traffic. That's a good news, because I have one domain, bought from a drop, that's still banned by BigG. Thanks Bing! :)

That is strange, it should show correct stats, how about you try contacting analytics support?

wikipedia's articles are often incomplete, incorrect or not professional. Do you have any special reason why a website written by anonymous people (you have no ideea on their education or background) should rank higher then a website with true professionals behind it? Wikipedia articles are most of the times inferior and just rephrased articles from real websites. And the worst thing is that people who post there just take the information (sometimes copy paste) and don't even put a reference. Half of one of my articles was posted by somebody on wikipedia. When I added the reference it was quickly taken out. Same with removing my content. Why should a search engine alter the stats to show their article ahead of mine, when mine was actually the geniune and professional one, and theirs just a bad copy/rephrase? And btw....the argument I've had from other about commercial websites and free information doesn't apply here since the website I'm talking about is just a free and ad free as wikipedia.

Is it possible that people are hotlinking to your site (using your images and your bandwidth?)? If that's the case, then you won't see visitors in Google Analytics but you'll see high stats in Awstats.

well with me since bing started I have been getting a lot of searches from them with my sites july ended up with 631 searches from bing and google was 474 searches google images was 193 searches bing was at 39. So far this month bing is continuing to pass google and yahoo has passed google in seaches for my 4 sites. One of the sites is a google page 2 ranking and bing has double the amount of searches.

My honest opinion, Bing is good traffic nevertheless, but it will never compete with Google. If you are just launching your sties, you will probably see some good Bing traffic over Google, but once you rank well, of course Google will be the number one hitter.

This seems a bit weird. However my awstats does not show any Bing traffic so I cant confirm this. Anyone else with Bing traffic?

Google will probably stay the king but just having a new source for bringing traffic is always a good thing for us. ;)
