    Hi All,

I created a site www.medavakkam.com but nobody seems to be clicking on the ads. Both eCPM and CTR are low as a result. Please gimme ideas on how i can increase my earnings.

    Thanks,

When opening your site, I can only see 2 image ads, which were not really attractive. Try text ads instead of image ads, and usually rectangle (336x280 or 250x250) give better conversion.

your ads just look like "ads" and no one likes to click on ads. ads should be part of your site content so work on blending them into your site so that they look like part of your site content. use same color for ad text as your site text as well. your right sidebar isn;t as aligned as your left sidebar which needs to be fixed also. just try various combinations and each time wait atleast 24 hours before switching to something else. its like trial and error to find out which setup woks best for your site. good lick

To get clicked, first you need interesting content, dont expect visitor will go your site an click the ads only without good content

Create good quality content that people enjoy. If you read it and don't think you would want to stay on that website if you were browsing the internet, chances are neither do other people.

blend your ads, make them look like they are a natural part of the website.

ad placement is key, don't flood a page with ads, and make sure you place them in convenient places to generate clicks but that don't ruin the quality of your website.

    No worry about clicks etc

First u need to build a strong content .Adsense works well with content based websites .It seems that your site is getting low traffic and page views. This may also results in low Adsense income .

Place them in spots where you think users will look and be able to see them, make sure they the flow is organized in your site and the ads don't stick out too much.

How much traffic do you get and how many people look for the keyword "Medavakkam" which is a southern suburb in Chennai? There is hardly any content in your site and you can't expect any click too...

where all your traffic coming from? are they all friends or relatives that you share with about the website? they will not convert. if you have low converting organic traffic then it is a concern. just blend the link colors to match your article link color, ad one 336*280 block below your title.
